Theta Tau develops Engineering Leaders for Service, Profession, and Brotherhood. Each semester we balance our activities with professional development, community service, social, brotherhood and intramural sports.

Theta Tau is the Nation's oldest and still foremost fraternity for engineers. It was founded in 1904 at the University of Minnesota and has since initiated over 30,000 members. It is a co-ed professional engineering fraternity, which combines the best aspects of social fraternities and technical and honor societies, including life long brotherhood, ritual (ideals of the organization), leadership and networking opportunities, and professional development, community service, and social events.

 

Xi Gamma Heads to Dallas

Members from the Xi Gamma Chapter will be heading to Southern Methodist University in Dallas on February 19 - 21 to meet at Tau Beta Chapter for the Spring 2010 South Central Regional Conference. Brothers representing chapters at Texas A&M, SMU, Oklahoma State, the University of Arkansas and the University of Texas will meet to network, participate in professional development sessions, and discuss the continued expansion of the Fraternity.

Xi Gamma Welcomes New Brothers

The Xi Gamma Chapter of Theta Tau is proud to welcome its newest brothers. Cody Hixon, Mark Phelps, Jayr Dunn, Jimmy Hollingsworth and Elissa Bahm were initiated on Sunday, January 31, 2010. Immediately following the initiation ceremony, new officers Kyle Benson (Regent), Amy Ourada (Vice Regent), Bryan Tuthill (Treasurer), Shane Young (Scribe), and Ashley Chastain (Corresponding Secretary) were installed after taking their oaths of office. Congratulations to the new brothers and officers!
