What is rushing?

Rushing is a chance for a prospective pledge to meet and find out about Theta Tau. It is an open invitation for all eligible students to start the process of becoming a member of Theta Tau. During rush, there is an activity every day to give students a chance to meet all the active members of Theta Tau and give them a chance to find out more about Theta Tau. During rush, a prospective pledge has no obligation to the fraternity. The student is invited to participate at all the rush events and meet all the actives. At the end of the rush period, the members of Theta Tau vote on who is allowed to take the next step towards becoming a member of Theta Tau. After a vote by the active members, the student will be contacted and invited if he would like to "pledge" Theta Tau.
